Pay and Benefits
Paraprofessional II : $20.74.
Paraprofessional I : $20.10.
DEFINITION : Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with children.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Age and Education : 18 years or older; High school diploma or equivalent; Preference to be given to applicants with 3 or more Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field college semester units with grade C or better.
- Experience : Experience working with children with exceptional needs and / or disabilities.
- Criminal Clearance : Fingerprint and criminal clearance required.
- Medical Clearance : Pre-employment physical, TB clearance, current measles and pertussis vaccines required.
- Paraprofessional II must have 6 ECE, CD, or related field college semester units and two years of work experience as a Paraprofessional.
Preference is given for experience working with children with exceptional needs and / or disabilities.
Other Requirements : Must have a valid CA. Driver License, Registered and Insured Vehicle. Must be authorized to work in the US.
