Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of premise liability and auto claims cases, from inception to trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Attend court hearings and trials, and argue motions as necessary
- Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for depositions and trial
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and discuss case strategies
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Florida
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on premise liability and auto claims
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
