Summary : Performs inspections to customer requirements (Material Specification, Drawing, Government Specification) on raw material, in-process and finished goods.
Specific duties may vary depending upon immediate plant need. More experienced technicians may also be asked to participate in advanced quality planning.

Hours :
Weekend days Friday to Sunday, 6 : 00AM to 6 : 00PM, $3 / hour shift premium and overtime as needed. Training on other shifts as needed.
Weekend nights Friday to Sunday, 6 : 00PM to 6 : 00AM, $4.50 / hour shift premium and overtime as needed. Training on other shifts as needed.
Pay : Starting pay is based on previous quality experience in related setting; Starting pay is $21 to $23.00 and goes up to $24 with opportunity for more with seniority, training and career advancement.
Requirements :
- Experience performing quality inspections to customer requirements on raw material, in-process and finished goods using calipers, micrometers, Wizard, quality plans, product audits and raw material inspections, reading blueprints and drawings
- Ability to perform data entry; proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing software
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred :
- Experience with quality planning FMEA, Control Plans, Inspection sheets
- GD&T knowledge
- Experience training others
