What You’ll Do :
- Develop tools and workflows that facilitate exploratory research.
- Design robust Python APIs to boost research productivity.
- Collaborate with researchers to implement studies, analytics, and production models formodities trading.
- Define and maintain a Python research environment tailored for data-intensive workloads.
- Create web user interfaces for data exploration and delivery of research results.
- Build and optimize data and machine learning infrastructure to make trading datasets accessible and useful.
- Manage production workflows for real-time forecasting, modeling, and analytics in a Linuxpute environment.
- Develop systems for backtesting and systematic trading strategies, deploying them into their production environment.
- Work with the research infrastructure team to leverage their Linuxputer cluster.
- Collaborate with data management teams to refine data acquisition, storage, and accessibility processes.
What You Bring :
- Extensive experience with Python and API design.
- Proven track record of building and scaling large-scale analysis or machine learning tools.
- Expertise in modern data technologies (Postgres, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, dbt).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Plotly, Panel, Dash).
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Experience with strongly typed orpiled languages (, Java, C++, Go, Rust).
- Ability to manageplex projects end-to-end, including stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and mentoring junior engineers.
