We are in the search for an adept Service Representative in the Insurance Services, H& B field. The role is situated in Rochester, New York, focusing on the Payroll Services industry.
The employment type for this role is a long-term contract position.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding insurance services, providing accurate and prompt responses.
- Process applications for insurance services, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer records, updating information as necessary.
- Monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking necessary action to resolve them.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of insurance services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Handle confidential customer information with discretion and in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Use problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the team's overall goals and objectives, actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in Health and Benefits (H& B).
- Demonstrable experience in a Service Representative role within the Payroll Services industry.
- Proficient in utilizing payroll and human resources software systems.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle client inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner.
- Ability to interpret and explain insurance policies and procedures to clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Insurance or Payroll Services are a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous.
