Currently, we're looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to join our Houston team who can effectively complete tasks, help set goals, and lead by example.
This position is goal oriented involving the sales, maintenance, and development of the overall customer accounts for Cenergy International.
We are after a Business Development Manager to help build / manage all our service lines including staffing / contract labor, rd party vendor management and special project support across a multitude of industries.
Job Summary
As a Sales Business Development Manager , you are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external companies, while working closely with the Recruiting team for new business growth.
This responsibility requires, but is not limited to, establishing this role as a subject matter expert to our clients while building / maintaining partnerships with new clients that you build with us.
Essential Functions :
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with client account representatives.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to accounts' needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to the Leadership Team.
- Oversee all aspects of account management, including but not limited to full cycle client relationship, job order management, candidate submissions and assignments, credentialing process, and other client requirements, etc.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Assist with issues as needed.
- Help implement and leverage our CRM to capture and report on all activity and market feedback.
- Work alongside Senior Leadership to develop an effective branded sales toolkit in which to help close sales and gain new business.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute outbound business development activities with a focus on companies that hire contract personnel for the Energy, Aerospace / Defense, Chemical industries.
Selling Activities include :
- Conducts client outreach, prospects and qualifies account opportunities
- Develops pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities
- Creates and communicates the value of Cenergy with prospects and clients
- Develops a detailed territory plan and targeted growth strategy
- Maintains and grows thorough understanding of each account, industry and business
Supervising Activities :
Responsible for ensuring that team goals along with this role's sales goals are met.
Servicing Activities :
- Conduct inside and outside sales.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with current and respective clients.
- Service clients on a regular basis and handle all issues.
Support Recruiting Efforts :
- Instill good methods of customer service from the recruiting team supporting key accounts
- Ensure the most effective use of an Applicant Tracking System
- Assist recruiters with filling requisitions when necessary

Experience :
- Sales : - years staffing experience (Required)
- years of experience in business development in both staffing and in account management, full desk recruiting and / or B-to-B experience required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong / effective interpersonal skills
- Must be willing and able to work within a team setting
Education :
Associate degree or higher in Business or related field or equivalent experience (Bachelor's degree Preferred with experience supporting science-related field).

Monthly incentive / commission pay based on performance, following a probationary period.

Some travel is expected with this position and overnight stays are likely a few times a month.
Work Location :
Houston TX (Required) This is an office-based position with local travel required.
