Job Description
We seek an experienced and dynamic HVAC Project Manager to join our San Jose, CA team. This role is pivotal in managing and executing large-scale commercial mechanical construction projects, focusing on HVAC and sheet metal systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project management, extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, and a proven track record of overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all HVAC and sheet metal project phases, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
- Ensure all projects comply with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be based in San Jose, CA, and have a stable work history.
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical project management experience, specifically in HVAC and sheet metal.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams, focusing on delivering successful outcomes.
