Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Ultrasound Echo Tech for a travel assignment in Lynchburg, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive healthcare environment while enhancing your skills in echocardiography.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experiencein echo / ultrasound.
- Proficiency in echocardiography techniques, with a focus on GE equipment
- BLS certification required
ARDMS) and / or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification preferred
- EKG experience is a plus
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Role Responsibilities :
- Perform echocardiograms and assist with the interpretation of results
- Utilize GE ultrasound equipment to provide high-quality images for diagnosis
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, addressing any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information in the EMR
