Our Residential Treatment Center (RTC) staff in Eden Prairie and our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) staff in Uptown Minneapolis understand the issues the LGBTQIA+ community face, and our mission is to give clients the tools needed for addiction and mental health recovery.

In addition to our clinical team, made up of counselors, mental health clinicians, and therapists, we also employ an experienced nursing / tech team who provide / 7 medical care to our residential clients in Eden Prairie, MN.
Our Nurses and Techs epitomize teamwork and service excellence.
We are searching for part-time weekend Registered Nurses and also prn (as needed) RNs to join our nursing / tech team, especially if you are available to occasionally work prn Overnights!
Our Registered Nurses are responsible for a multitude of duties, tasks, and last minute decisions, including :
- performing nursing assessments and documenting client information and nursing care in the client record
- reassessing and documenting any changes in the client's condition in compliance with facility policy
- accurately administering medication to clients
- recognizing behaviors and setting appropriate limits in clear, concise, and non-judgmental terms
- maintaining compliance with all hospital annual competencies, as well as CPR and First Aid
- providing pertinent feedback to the interdisciplinary treatment team regarding client response to therapy, treatment interventions and therapeutic objectives, as appropriate and necessary
- collaborating with other staff professionals in planning for discharge and follow-up care
- employing principles of communication, interviewing techniques, problem solving skills, and crisis intervention when performing psychotherapeutic interventions

- able to leap tall buildings in a single bound - well, maybe not this one, but our RNs are pretty great!
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess :
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred
- A minimum of two years of psychiatric / mental health and / or chemical dependency nursing experience is preferred
- A MN RN license is required
- Knowledge of fair, firm and consistent therapeutic milieu management techniques
- Effective client relations skills
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification
- Must be able to pass / clear the MN DHS Background Study and must pass a UA drug test
