Responsibilities
ED RN - Emergency Department Trauma Level I
3x hours per week - 6 month temporary assignemnt
Days / Nights / Mids or Nights only
$. / hr + $4 to $8 Shift Diff
Job Summary :
As a Registered Nurse in our Level I Trauma Center's Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of providing critical care to patients with a variety of urgent and life-threatening medical conditions.
Our Emergency Department is known for its fast-paced environment and its commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
You will work alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families during critical times.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a highly dynamic and challenging emergency department setting.
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for patients across a wide range of conditions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
BSN or currently enrolled.
DC RN License, or eligibility
- At least 2 year of clinical experience in an emergency department .
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification within 1 year of hire
- Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
