Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. We are a leading full-service Nondestructive Testing (NDT) company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts, fostering strong client relationships, and expanding our customer base within the NDT industry.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organization at the forefront of innovative NDT solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales and Business Development :

  • Identify and target potential clients within the NDT industry, including but not limited to manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and oil and gas sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and presentations.

2. Client Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to understand their needs, identify upselling opportunities, and address any issues proactively.

3. Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge :

  • Develop a deep understanding of our NDT services, technologies, and solutions, including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and standards related to NDT, and effectively communicate this knowledge to clients.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of client projects and deliverables.
  • Provide feedback and insights from client interactions to inform product development, service enhancements, and process improvements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A background in NDT or a technical discipline is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales or account management roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the NDT industry or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
