We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist in the DTLA area who is ready to transition into a solo HR Manager role at our boutique law firm.

Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within the firm.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate with external payroll service providers as needed.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the firm’s goals and legal requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Utilize HRIS (Bamboo preferred) to manage employee records, benefits administration, and reporting.
- Analyze HR metrics to assess effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on employment law and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within a boutique law firm or corporate services environment.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and systems; prior experience in managing payroll is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with HRIS systems; knowledge of Bamboo or ADP is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the firm.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
