Job Title : Research and Development III
Job Description :
Join our dynamic team as an Associate Scientist III, where you'll contribute to the creation of AAV candidates for our client's preclinical gene therapy pipeline.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in mammalian cell culture and viral vector production, who is eager to expand their knowledge in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
Key Responsibilities :
- Production and analytical characterization of AAV vector using mammalian cell culture
- Development, optimization, and troubleshooting of AAV production processes
- Maintenance of organized and detailed electronic records, submitted promptly
- Reporting data to team members through written reports and direct collaboration
Skills Required :
- BS / MS degree in Biochemistry, Biology or a related field with 1-3 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in adherent or suspension mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques
- Experience with basic molecular and analytical techniques such as PCR based assays, plasmid preparation and gel electrophoresis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to change and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with mammalian cell culture production of viral vectors / recombinant proteins
- Previous experience with bench scale bioreactors with mammalian platforms
