Job Details :

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join our growing team in the Finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.

The Controller will report directly to the CFO and will work closely with senior management of multiple clients to drive financial performance and business strategy.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all various aspects of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger.

2. Manage the preparation and presentation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

3. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

4. Prepare all corporate budgets and forecasts, monitor progress against budget, and develop tools to catch and address issues as they arise.

5. Implement and manage Accounting ERP systems to streamline financial operations and reporting.

6. Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support growth needs.

7. Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.

8. Communicate financial metrics to senior management and provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA or other related advanced degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting

3. Proven experience with Accounting ERP, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, and General Ledger.

4. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, and understanding of GAAP or other recognized international accounting standards.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.

6. Experience in a leadership role with proven ability to mentor / lead a team.

7. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

8. Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

9. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

10. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
