Job Summary
Performs janitorial duties at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), including but not limited to cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming assigned areas, high and low dusting, and emptying trash.
Primary Duties

- Perform janitorial duties at HAFB on daily basis per schedule, including cleaning restrooms, dusting, performing floor work, mopping, and collecting trash.
- Maintain janitorial storage room in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion.
- Ensure all supplies are stored and used in sequence. Order replacement supplies as needed.
- May assist with driving for vehicle drops for maintenance, supplies, or personnel needing to be transported to a site.
- Disinfect PARC vans at end of shift.
Additional Responsibilities
- Pick up litter outside of PARC building.
- May drive a PARC van to transport other workers to cleaning sites.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications : Education, Experience and Certification(s)
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred, but not required.
- No prior work experience required.
- Valid driver's license and / or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR) if driver of a PARC van.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to recognize and / or read limited number of two-and three-syllable words.
- Ability to understand / carry out one or two step instructions and follow visual cues.
- Ability to work in a team setting or independently in the absence of supervision.
- Ability to stay on task and complete assigned duties within a scheduled time frame.
Supervision Received
The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working inside buildings and occasionally exposed to weather if walking between work sites.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet unless working on the flightline which is moderate.
