About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Postpartum / Mom Baby Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License : Active RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted) Certifications : - NRP - BLS Must-Have : - Ability to care for high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries - Newborn Nursery experience - Experience with Meditech documentation system Job Description : - Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborn babies.
- Deliver patient-focused care by prioritizing clinical outcomes and enhancing patient experience.- Perform procedures on the unit such as IV placement.
- Care for high-risk Antepartum patients.- Operate within documentation protocols using the Meditech and CPN systems.- Rotate weekends and discuss call requirements during the interview process.
- Conform to the dress code that requires navy scrub top and pants or a navy / white scrub jacket; and maintain appropriate grooming standards.
- Floating to Labor and Delivery (LAD) unit may be required as needed.- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensuring any body art or piercings comply with hospital policies.
