Description : Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control team is seeking a Program Manager to join the GMLRS Production Program Management team.

GMLRS is a greater than $1B program annually and is currently growing production capacity by 40%. It's an exciting time to be a part of this highly visible team!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead for Guidance, Navigation, and Control IPT for GMLRS Production
  • Lead for Guidance Set Refresh (GSR) development program
  • Lead for Proximity Sensor Obsolescence redesign program
  • Primary program interface for Cybersecurity and Property Management efforts as required for GMLRS Production

Candidate will serve as the cost, technical, and schedule lead for the above efforts and support the Senior Program Manager for GMLRS Production in day-to-day execution of production activities.

This unique role will provide the candidate exposure to both production and development environments.

This position will include regular customer and

LM senior management reviews along with coordination with various stakeholders including suppliers, LM functional areas, and LM manufacturing locations as they execute contract requirements.

This position will also be the primary interface with the US Army customer for the aforementioned activities.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of an Bachelor's degree
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Team-building and interpersonal skills leading

cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive issues and actions to closure
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to address complex matters and solutions

with program team and senior leadership

Understanding of Earned Value Management

EVM) and processes associated with

development, implementation, and management of cost and schedule baselines

Schedule and financial performance

management experience

  • Risk and opportunity management experience
  • Ability to travel to support key program events including program management reviews with suppliers and USG customer

Desired Skills :

  • Bachelor and / or Masters degree in engineering and / or scientific disciplines
  • Experience in subcontract management
  • Experience working with US military customers and stakeholders
  • Experience with presentations to senior leadership and customer
  • Prior training in Program Management Fundamentals and CAM certification

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
