- As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his / her time (>
- 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through : provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments;
facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required :
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
- Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college / university.
- Those with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
- Basic life support
- ACLS / PALS / NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment.
