Charge Nurse / House Supervisor Both
Are there nurse aids / surgical techs on this unit? OB Techs
OB / Neonatologist in house 24 / 7? No
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) 2 Vents, 2 Bubble CPAP
Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Telemetry is available. RN’s read strips in OB. Monitor techs upstairs if continuous monitoring required.
EFM System GE Centricity
Shifts & Scheduling Am / PM 12 hour shifts. Yearly core schedules in place.
Weekend Requirement every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority
Holiday Requirement Per ONA contract
Is there a call or standby requirement? 2 12 hour shifts required per schedule
Floating Requirements Closed Unit, unless emergency measures in place
Scrub Color / Dress code Scrubs provided. Color Purple
Unit / Department specific orientation Completed on all new and incoming employees
