Photo Art Director
Repo rting directly to the Director of Creative Services for an in-house creative team, the Photo Art Director will conceptualize and execute lifestyle / product photography, rendering, AI and video for print, digital and environmental usage.
The Photo Art Director will partner with the Creative Director and internal teams to strategize, conceptualize, design, and direct photography for a wide range of projects.
The Photo Art Director is responsible for directing production teams (internal / external) in the execution of work from brief and style guide to delivery with minimal oversight.
This position will oversee photo / rendering / AI / video quality and adherence to style guides by making selects on final assets, creating post-production notes, and reviewing imagery and video after final postproduction work and before delivery.
Well versed in visual and design trends, AI / rendering generation, leading client meetings, directing photo teams, ensuring they are motivated and working at their
highest ability.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborateswith Creative Director / In-house Photographer and key stakeholders to formulate concepting boards / campaigns, creating style guides and creative execution strategies.
- Translates brand vision and strategy during photo shoots into creative and innovative assets.
- Meets industry standards by following production, productivity, quality, ad brand standards.
- Works with operations staff to achieve operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional creative work.
- Partners with key stakeholders to resolve operational roadblocks and identifies work process improvements.
- Meets company and project stakeholders by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving actions.
- Reviews project production factors by studying budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques.
- Selects and secures illustrative material by formulating concept boards / campaigns; responds to client commentary and requests.
- Lead internal presentations. Understands feedback and applies alterations to align with brand.
- Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

- Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
Qualifications :
- 4 or more years experience art directing photography and motion.
- 2 or more year experience in a project management role.
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Commercial Art, Video or Photography Production or similar. A combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered.
- Extensive knowledge of video and photography production. Experience with AI and rendering generation.
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
- Adapts to and implements photography style, shot list development, casting, and making selections.
- Experience in the lighting industry, home décor, or fashion related creative oversight highly desired.
- Highly skilled with leading photo production talent.
- Works well independently or within a team.
- Handles frequent interruptions and adapts to changing workloads / schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize information around due dates, clients, internal resource skill sets, and knows when to escalate matters for assistance and awareness.
- Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager.
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings.
