Description
St. Andrew the Apostle School is seeking an enthusiastic full-time, certified science teacher to lead a positive and productive elementary classroom for the 2024-2025 school year.
The final candidate fulfills the mission of the Catholic Church by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the school's philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
The teacher will provide the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth.
The teacher has decision making responsibilities in keeping with school policies as well as the Diocesan Administrative Manual.
The final candidate must have solid communication skills that will be utilized daily in partnering with and communicating with students, peers, and families.
This position is hired by, evaluated by, and reports directly to the school principal.

Candidates must have :
- Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry
- Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required
- Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church;
includes faithful obedience to the Magisterium.
