Cheba Hut Johnston-Merle Hay is hiring motivated individuals to join our crew! We’re looking for Assistant Managers who want to serve up great food and laid-back vibes at our newest location.
Cheba Hut is a marijuana-themed sandwich shop, serving up toasted subs and scratch-made munchies since 1998. We prioritize authenticity, individuality, and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
With 67 stores and growing, there’s plenty of room for career growth.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the General Manager in leading daily operations
- Motivate and coach staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee hiring, training, and team development
- Manage food, beverage, and labor costs according to budget
- Lead by example, embodying Cheba Hut’s core values and vision
Requirements :
- Three years of restaurant experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and manage a diverse team
- Must have reliable transportation, food safety training, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
