Currently, we are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our client's team in Norcross, GA.
Success as an Inventory Specialist requires meeting the following expectations :
- Ensure that there is inventory to support the sales plan
- Own the accuracy of our inventory
- Coordinate inventory with daily production plan
- Ensure there is a place for everything, and everything is in its place
- Communicate when the inventory will not support the business plan with the General Manager
- Perform additional duties as required
Key behaviors / skills :
- Thorough understanding of KanBan
- Thorough understanding of the operating systems impacts on inventory
- Subject matter expert on all products and OEM vehicle models
- Ability to collaborate with all team members
- Ability to problem solve and provide swift resolution
- Ability to identify and communicate risk / non-conformance immediately
Education :
- Bachelors Degree preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience
- Previous warehousing experience
- Forklift Certification required
Additional Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, squat or kneel for long periods of time
