Responsibilities

Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.

• Greet patients, visitors, and new admissions. Answer general inquiries and schedules patients for appointments. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Create various reports and documents as assigned.

Help patients / residents with basic technology and social media.

• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
• Perform unit safety checks. Assist with meeting patient needs and escalate as appropriate.
• May assist with meals, pass and collect trays, pass out activities, and transport patients / residents through facility.

May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.

May maintain staff schedules and timekeeping as assigned.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education :

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
