ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Interacts with crew leaders, customers, and vendors using Tropitude (Tropitude is our mojo and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different.

It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).

• Delivers Unparalleled Hospitality to each customer that visits our café.
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly in stock and stored
• Accurate order taking, includes repeating order to customer at time of order
• Setting up or closing down the dining room, restrooms, and patios
• Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties and re-stocking

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in food service industry.
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Most shifts are between six to eight hours, but this may vary.
• Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and / or holiday hours and may have additional opening / closing responsibilities.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
• Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!

The calm gulf waters, friends enjoying games in the sand and a need for replenishment from the warm Florida sun. We started by blending fruits and vegetables together to create unique and refreshing smoothies.

And customers lined up for our tasty creations. Then in 1997, we opened our first cafe in Tallahassee, Florida. Guests now had a place to sit and relax while we made their favorite smoothies.

Two years later, we added a range of wholesome food options to complement our smoothies, all made fresh. We started as a destination for flavor, and it’s a proud heritage that we continue today.

We are guided by a simple belief : when you eat better, you feel better. Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s menu boasts bold, flavorful smoothies with a healthy appeal, all made-to-order with quality ingredients.

We find that real fruits, veggies and juices just taste better. Our toasted wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and quesadillas are made to suit your individual tastes with quality meats, fresh produce and flavorful sauces.
