Klaviyo is looking for a Social Media Manager with content creation experience to concept, develop and publish creative content across all Klaviyo social media channels.
Reporting to the Director of Social Media, this role will be an important part of driving Klaviyo’s social channel growth and engagement and helping to evolve how we show up on our owned channels.
We are looking for a high-energy self-starter who is passionate about social media trends and loves to get creative across all mediums.
You’ll focus your attention on execution and creative ideation, but should be a strong strategic thinker and invested in how your work impacts our larger goals.

Manager, Social Media
How you’ll make a difference
- Execute channel-specific social strategies and lead test-and-learn for social media content, pitching and developing new content ideas and reporting on results.
- Manage and execute an editorial calendar across core social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn.
- Concept and execute daily and weekly content including directing, shooting and editing short-form video.
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the company including brand, creative, product marketing, communications and employer brand to produce engagement-driven content across all organic channels.
- Research and stay on top of content trends and insert Klaviyo into real-time relevant conversations.
- Assist with amplification and content capture for external events and activities.
- Work closely with customer support to execute community management and ensure we are appropriately responding on channels.
- Using provided tools, assist with tracking and reporting on metrics across all channels; optimize our content based on insights.
- Develop a deep understanding of Klaviyo’s customers, their challenges and opportunities, and develop clever ideas for content designed to engage them.
Who you are
- 2-4+ years experience in social media and content creation.
- Energetic, ambitious, curious and creative individual; you love to learn the ins and outs of a new audience and figure out what makes it tick.
- Experienced shooting on iPhone and digital cameras, with video editing and graphic design.
- Strong instinct for storytelling and experience with both proactive and reactive content yes, you can hop on a trend, but you know how to make the most of any moment, from jumping in on a brand shoot to banking the perfect Reel to turning brand photography into a truly inspired Tiktok carousel.
- Passionate about staying up to date on social media trends, cultural moments and love generating creative ideas.
- Self-starter, highly detailed and comfortable handling multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus if you love retail, entrepreneurship, marketing and consumer brands of all shapes and sizes.
