Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Project Manager to deliver projects in Ohio. You may be based in one of our Ohio offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland or Akron.

Role description :
In this position you will serve as a project manager and / or technical lead for infrastructure projects and direct the work of a multi-disciplinary team and junior engineering staff and CAD technicians.
You will work closely with our discipline leads to provide innovative solutions for our clients, including state DOTs, municipal entities, and contractors.
In this role you will also support Arcadis projects in Ohio and throughout the eastern US. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your management skills and technical expertise as part of an industry leading firm built on a culture of collaboration.
Role accountabilities :
- Serve as project manager for bridge specific projects.
- Serve as lead engineer for bridges and other structures, including new construction, inspection, repair, and rehabilitation projects.
This includes leading, assigning and reviewing work and providing technical guidance to the team.
- Review technical packages as part of our internal Quality Matters program.
- Deliver quality plans, calculations, and specifications on schedule.
- Assist with preparation of scope and fee proposals for structures work.
Qualifications & Experience :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field
- 10 or more years bridge design experience
- Registrations / Certifications required : OH PE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Experience with ODOT design criteria and standards
Key Attributes
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD
- Familiarity with structural engineering software packages such as : Bentley Open Bridge Designer, Bentley Microstation, MIDAS, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
- Direct and mentor junior level staff inside of the project team
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals.
- A valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Structural Engineering
- ODOT Level 2 Bridge Inspector qualifications
- Bridge inspection, repair, and rehabilitation experience
