A family of 3 is looking for an engaging, patient, & creative mentor. They have one son who is 18-years old on the Autism spectrum.
They are looking for a mentor who is open to helping him read, read to him, do some simple math, walk with him for exercise, draw with him.
He is sensitive to loud noises / voices - having a calm demeanor and accepting nature is super important.
Activities to do :
- Reading age-appropriate books
- Walking outside around the trails
- Visits to the library, bookstores, parks, & grocery store
- Arts, crafts, and painting
- Ask very clear questions and encourage him to give you an answer.
- Sensory bags / activities
- He enjoys learning new things - feel free to bring knowledge or hobbies that you would like to share with him (Please keep in mind he is slow to warm up to a new person.
It will take time before he has any interest in you. Be patient!)
Schedule :
Monday : 3 pm to 7 pm
Tuesday : 3 pm to 7 pm
Wednesday : 2 pm to 6 pm
Thursday : 3 pm to 7 pm
GUARANTEED 16 HOURS PER WEEK!
Location : Between Black Mountain Ranch and 4S Ranch - 92128
Hourly Pay : $17.50 to $25 an hour, includes sibling care bonuses, & guaranteed mileage reimbursement for each shift
