Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) - Yuma, Arizona - 902882

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - L&D

Shift : Nights / 6 : 45p-7 : 15a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length : 13 Weeks

Weekend Requirements : 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc : Fri / Sat. Day : Sat / Sun.

Holiday Requirements : Typically 2 / 3 holidays, includes eve / day of. Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not

mandatory. Please note in interview notes traveler agrees to holiday requirements (will be assigned 2 out of 3

holidays within contract, holidays are considered the eve / day of).

Is there a call or standby requirement : Low Census On Call.

Requirements :

• AZ / Compact License
• 2 years experience
• Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical

students / residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology,

IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall

2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge

• EPIC experience required
• BLS, NRP
• AWOHNN-Intermediate or Advanced
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Experience with spinning babies preferred

Radius Rule : 100 miles

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatalcare, high Spanish speaking, tele monitoring.

Spanish speaking would be great

Floating Requirements : NICU / Peds / Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment-

downgraded, or RDU.

Scrub Color : Provided hospital scrubs.
