Job Summary :
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Compliance Auditor is responsible for supporting the Compliance department by assisting the Compliance Internal Auditor in the ongoing implementation, maintenance, and advancement of the organization’s corporate compliance program.
Under the direction of the Compliance Internal Auditor, this position is responsible for conducting auditing and monitoring activities encompassing revenue cycle, finance, and other business practices including compliance with conditions of participation, coding and billing, financial and business controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc.
CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health, public health, administration, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and / or experience.
- Two (2) years of administrative experience working in a legal, regulatory, or auditing environment.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Nurse (RN).
Additional Qualifications for Compliance Auditor II : Meets all requirements of Compliance Auditor I in addition to the following :
Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or two (2) additional years of compliance auditing experience.
Native Preference :
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
