Job Title : Senior Cloud Engineer AWS GenAI Platform
Location : New Jersey, US (Onsite)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS services .
This role is crucial for the development of a GenAI application on AWS, requiring hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and operational cost monitoring .
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Java , along with knowledge of modern cloud technologies, specifically in AWS .
This role is onsite and based in New Jersey .
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop scalable and reusable model execution components using AWS core services .
- Develop and implement a cost monitoring component to enable API usage tracking.
- Design and deploy notification and alerting systems leveraging modern cloud technologies.
- Automate operational tasks and workload distribution within public cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS .
- Streamline production deployments using CloudFormation and Terraform , integrated with existing CI / CD pipelines.
- Design, develop, and integrate observability components for a cloud-based GenAI application.
- Participate in team-wide application architecture reviews and present solutions and designs.
Qualifications & Core Skills :
Education :
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related fields.
Experience :
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development and implementation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working on cloud-based platforms (AWS) , preferably in Financial Services .
Technical Skills :
- Demonstrable experience in enterprise data solutions .
- Proficiency in hands-on development using Python and Java (priority in that order).
- Strong understanding of AWS core services and architecture best practices.
- Experience in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications on AWS.
- Experience integrating vendor products using application APIs .
Certifications :
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or above.
