Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible The Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is actively recruiting for an Adult Psychiatrist to provide services at our Leatherman Behavioral Health Hospital located in Florence, SC
We are seeking candidates with :
- Motivation and desire to work with an excellent multidisciplinary psychiatric care team
- Training from an accredited Psychiatry Program
- Board Certification / Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
Our Opportunity :
- 7a 7p Monday-Sunday; every other week
- 40% Inpatient; 40% Outpatient; 20% CSU (Crisis Stabilization Unit)
- Duties include hospital rounding, outpatient services & CSU
The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences in Charleston via an affiliate faculty appointment, and will receive access to the division’s resources, as well as clinical support from the Charleston team.

Leatherman Behavioral Health Hospital is a 63-bed behavioral health hospital which includes, 51 adult IP beds, 12 adolescent IP beds, 16 adult CSU beds, 4 adolescent CSU beds and outpatient services.
