Responsibilities :
Develop safe and effective exercise programs for members,educate members in exercise with a focus on establishing individualized finessprograms for each client.
Perform basic health assessments, fitness tests, bodycomposition tests, and movement screens.
Essential Functions :
- Conduct fitness assessments to understandclients’ current fitness levels and health history.
- Develop safe and effective training programs tailoredto each client’s goals, fitness level, and preferences.
- Perform body composition and blood pressurescreenings
- Provide one-on-one training sessions, ensuringproper form, technique, and safety
- Monitor and track client progress, adjustingprograms as needed to ensure continued improvement
- Maintain working knowledge of current trends inhealth and fitness
- Understanding and knowledge of corporate fitnessprograms
- Gym tours / equipment and exercise demonstrations
- Event support and appearances
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE certification required
Heart Saver / CPR / First Aid
3+ years personal training experience
2-5 years group trainingexperience preferred
Degree in Kinesiologypreferred
Salary and Benefits :
Salary potential between : $40,000 - $140,000 with accrued Sick Pay inagreement with California State requirements
Additional benefits are availableafter 12 months of continuous employment : Vision, Dental, Medical, and accrued Vacation Pay
Schedule :
Flexibility to create your own schedule, with theexpectation to build a client base and train for at least 15 hours per week.
