About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2045 To $2272 Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Respiratory Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Illinois License Certifications : RRT, BLS, NRP Must-Have : Knowledge in EPIC EMR system Job Description : Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments in the plan of care within the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and / or responsible individuals to ensure understanding regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge.
- Accept reassignment to other units when necessary.- Share clinical knowledge with staff and students; serve as a role model for clinical practice.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.- Deliver respiratory care as ordered by the physician, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.
