Overview :

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Operations collaborates and partners with the Executive Leadership team and the care setting (hospital) leadership team.

This position is responsible for supporting hospital operations, construction projects, strategic planning, resource management, and financial management.

This role is focused on ensuring the care setting meets the annual finance and operational goals set by CommonSpirit National.

This role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer on financial management by managing and monitoring budgets and expenditures throughout the fiscal year.

It will also direct, contribute, and participate in developing budgets based on facility strategic plans. This role will be involved in securing approval of and administering capital and operating budgets to meet agreed-upon departmental goals and objectives.

Important to this role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire team. The Director of Operations must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of our organization.

This position must contribute toward a team-centered approach that ensures team before self, as we lead our complex, highly matrixed organization into the leading role as the healthcare provider of choice.

The Director of Operations will invite others into the consumer experience work to be fully transparent with the activities of this position, allowing for celebration of success and learnings through opportunities for change.

The position must demonstrate personal and professional accountability to our community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance.

This position will create change by being bold in thoughts and actions that generate the need for urgency as we forge ahead as the thought leader in our industry.

Qualifications :

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

  • At least five years’ experience in a hospital setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Finance, Nursing, or related field.
  • Master's Degree preferred.

Pay Range : $52.96 - $89.35 / hour
