THE ROLE :
We are seeking for a Sterile Processing Technician? to join our team! This facility has a broad range of primary and specialty services and a long history of advocating for the health and well-being of patients and their families.

Responsibilities :
- Demonstrates ability to swiftly and accurately accomplish tasks
- Exhibits effective multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Capable of making independent decisions and prioritizing workload
- Responsible for managing sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean workspace
- Handles tasks such as sterilizer testing, rinsing and packaging of sterile items, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions
- Assignments also include barcoding, stocking of linens, laundry management, and maintaining inventory
- Vital communication with supervisors and service providers is expected
- May oversee student workers and will be responsible for delivery and pickup of dental cassettes
- Runs daily spore tests and notifies departments of the results

Requirements :
- Sterile Processing Technician certification is preferred.
- With at least 1-2 years of recent hospital experience.
- Capable of learning to accurately identify surgical instruments and equipment.
- Must be proficient in rapidly and precisely executing tasks, managing several tasks simultaneously, resolving issues, and organizing tasks based on their importance.
- Commitment to providing good customer service when dealing with staff, vendors, and other departments.
