We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with solid experience in overseeing security work, handling queries (KQL) and deliverables, and potentially resolving related issues.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Kusto Query Optimization Performance Improvement : Enhance the speed and efficiency of various Kusto queries. Dynamic Queries : Reduce hardcoding to make queries more dynamic and adaptable to different datasets and scenarios.
• Power Platform Automation Optimization Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automations built on the Power Platform.

Streamline processes to reduce manual intervention and increase reliability.

Azure Subscription Support Security Setup : Configure and manage Azure Defender and other security requirements such as firewalls.

Ensure compliance with best practices and organizational policies for Azure subscriptions.

Azure Logic Apps Support ICM Automation : Update and expand Incident and Change Management (ICM) automation workflows using Azure Logic Apps.

Enhance existing logic apps to support evolving business needs.

Documentation Support Technical Documentation : Create and update technical review documents in Word. User Documentation : Develop and maintain user documentation in Markdown format for the wiki.

Improve documentation processes to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

Additional Skills and Tasks ADO API and Power Platform : Utilize the ADO API and Power Platform to develop tools like a Wiki metadata scraper.

Communication Support : Assist with internal communications and newsletters to keep stakeholders informed.

Typical Day in the Role : Purpose of the Team : Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery.

Drive program / project schedules and status reports. Create and / or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions on product or service implementation.

Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and / or analytical information. Organize cross-functional activities to ensure the program / project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

Key Projects : Security for xCloud Systems : Managing security for xCloud systems, including overseeing security work, handling queries and deliverables, and potentially resolving related issues.

This role involves substantial project management work, such as running burn down charts and managing security tasks.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Years of Experience Required : 5-7 years of overall experience in the field.
• Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) Query Writing & Optimization : Minimum 4+ years of experience (proficient).
• Azure Resource Management including Defender : Minimum 4+ years of experience.
• Communication Experience : Minimum 4+ years of experience.
• Triaging / process improvement : Minimum 4+ years of experience.
• Degrees or Certifications Required : A degree is preferred for this role.
• Disqualifiers : Candidates lacking project management and Kusto experience, or those with a history of job hopping, will not be eligible for this role.
• Best vs. Average Candidate : An ideal resume would showcase Kusto query optimization for various queries and automations, experience with Power Platform (automations and apps), and expertise in triaging and process improvement.

Bonus points for familiarity with the ADO API and Power Platform to create tools such as a Wiki metadata scraper.

Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly contract rate range of $55.00 to $60.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
