• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CULINARY AMBASSADOR positions.
• Location : Ascension Seton Hays - 6001 Kyle Parkway, Kyle, TX 78640. Note : online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full and part time schedules. Monday through Friday, 12 : 00 pm to 8 : 30 pm. Weekend availability is required.

• Requirement : Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Monitors customers and makes recommendations to their diets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manages food allergens.
• Modifies menus according to diet prescriptions.
• Provides basic diet information throughout a patient’s stay.
• Acts according to Joint Commissions / CMS standards and regulations for infection prevention control.
• Communicates with patients, their visitors and the hospital’s care team.
• Resolves patient dining concerns or complaints immediately.
• Reports a patient’s need for assistance to a supervisor or the care team, as appropriate.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Ability to push and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
