4 x10 hour shifts. This position also participates in a rotational "on-call" program Full job description The Maintenance Technician performs and assists with maintaining a facility following all company safety policies including LOTO.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components including but limited to Ovens, Robots, Lasers, conveyor systems, and Paint Equipment;
performing preventive / predictive maintenance; performing various welding activities; resolving safety concerns; preparing maintenance records and responding to emergency alarms.
Performs other duties as assigned. PERFORMANCE SEQUENCE -Read maintenance work orders. -Read and understand machine and equipment maintenance manuals for preventive maintenance, lubricant, and coolant specifications.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on, but not limited to : Paint booths and paint related systems Waste water treatment plant- Paint drying Ovens -Repair and maintain some power / air tools.
- Dispense chemicals for coolants and water system. -Rebuild or replace pumps -Keep records, logs and inventory of oils, coolants, and lubricants.
- Change and refill coolants and oils in machine.
Use forklift when needed. -Use Maintenance Management system on computer to look up parts, etc. -Inspect and repair all lifting devices and safety related equipment : Cranes Hoists Chains Straps Guards Lighting Fire protection equipment -Troubleshoot problems.
Complete necessary paperwork for each inspection and repair. -Troubleshoot PLC issues -Electrical work as needed. -Knowledge in Hydraulics -Plumbing / pipe installation and repair -Knowledge in Robots SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Forklift license.
Read and write English. Read and understand service manuals. Basic blueprint reading. Basic math. Skilled in using measuring devices, hand, and power tools multi meters.
