GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining and supervising a well-organized and efficient store that creates an enjoyable environment for customers to shop.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspects and sorts all donated textiles and hard goods.
- Responsible for building, maintenance, and security.
- Responsible for preparing recommendations for marketing and merchandising plans.
- Responsible for preparing sales and expense budget recommendations.
- Responsible for weekly reports, inventory, sales, ordering, scheduling time, and cash management.
- Responsible for the deposit of store receipts.
- Responsible for the display and merchandising of stock to create an appealing and conducive selling environment.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Take an active role in communicating with management, making suggestions for continuous improvement and quality control.
- Ensure area of operation is fully supplied with proper equipment and adheres to all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Must possess strong supervisory skills and be able to coordinate workflow and staff.
- Tactful and efficient handling of customer complaints with regard to salespeople, merchandise, and store policies and / or procedures.
