Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Location : Edison, NJ 08818
Start Date : November 11, 2024
Hours : 36 hours / week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days / week
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM (Every other weekend required; holidays as needed; no on-call duties)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Telemetry unit. The RN will assess patients, assist physicians, and provide tailored nursing care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments to establish care priorities.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Document care per clinical standards.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices.
- Provide patient-centered care.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
Education :
- Required : Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program.
- Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Telemetry Certification.
Required Certifications :
- BLS (AHA)
- NJ State Professional RN License or multi-state compact license
- NIHSS
- ACLS (AHA)
Additional Requirements :
- Strong Med / Surg experience.
- Preferred experience in stroke care and Telemetry Observation Unit.
- Must be reliable and flexible to float within the hospital as needed.
