We are currently seeking a PT Bank Teller to be part of our team in the banking industry, located in Framingham, Massachusetts.
This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and is centered around providing excellent customer service and handling various banking transactions.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting customers with safe deposit box access based on branch configuration
- Efficiently processing customer deposits including verification of cash and endorsements, and providing customers with receipts
- Handling cash transactions for both customers and non-customers
- Facilitating and recording the sale of monetary instruments such as official bank checks
- Processing foreign currency purchases and sales with accuracy
- Ensuring proper filing of all government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and the sale of all monetary instruments
- Processing different types of loan payments and credit card cash advances
- Engaging actively in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs for customers and non-customers and making appropriate referrals
- Accurately managing customer accounts and taking the necessary actions.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a banking or related role
- Proficiency in handling cash activities and bank transactions
- Experience with bank balances and deposits
- Skilled in providing excellent customer service
- Familiarity with retail banking systems and procedures
- Ability to answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
- Strong skills in cash handling and management
- Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
