Through strategic partnerships with governmental agencies and innovative programs like Project SAFE (PSafe) and Prevention Come be part of a team dedicated to empowering adolescents, adults and families facing mental and Aftercare (P&A), we foster long-term skills and support systems, enhancing the well-being of individuals and families across all stages of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with the development and implementation of their personal goals and objectives based on client and family strengths and areas of interest related to academic success, executive functioning skills, independent living skills, health and wellness, jobs, internships, and careers, or social connections
• Ensure proper and accurate documentation and data collection, and the timely submission of case notes, reports, billing logs, mileage, and other program needs.
• Maintain client notes in a confidential, responsible manner and meet all paperwork deadline requirements weekly
• Respond to all client related emails / phone calls within 24 hours in the business week
• Communicate with supervisor and the treatment team in case of crisis or pre-determined red flag situations immediately
• Ensure compliance with all program and agency policies and procedures.
• Arrange work schedule of required hours to the benefit of the P&A Program and clients with approval of the Program Coordinator

Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, special education or human services strongly preferred, supervised clinical hours available if needed.

Will consider Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 3 years of FT work experience with a related population

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with at risk children and TAY-aged youth and families
• Experience in assessing clients’ educational and / or employment needs and recommend strategies to assist clients in meeting their goals.
• Strong social and communication skills, verbal and written to work with and within the multidisciplinary treatment team and ability to flex work schedule to accommodate client needs and P&A Program’s community outreach activities
• Ability to collaborate with community partners including subcontractors,
• Develop, coordinate and oversee supportive educational and employment resources
• Valid CA driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance; must be willing to drive in the community when needed.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Help Group.

Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
