We are seeking to hire a midlevel 3-5th year Associate to join the Oil, Gas & Resources practice in our Fort Worth office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial litigation background, including experience with class and mass actions.
Experience working in energy is desired but not required. The candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of complex litigation matters related to the oil and gas industry, including royalty disputes, disputes between working interest owners, and property ownership disputes.
Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to or eligible for the Texas Bar. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, a commitment to providing the highest quality client service and a strong work ethic.
Candidates can be located in any of our Texas offices, including Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston.

Base Compensation $200,000 - $ 245,000 / year
The base compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
