Limited X-Ray Tech, Medical Assistant
Tennessee Valley Bone & Joint , Orthopedic Team is looking for experienced Limited X-Ray / Radiology Tech to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have great communication skills and provide quality care in a friendly and encouraging team environment.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Value team and respect consumer.
- State of Tennessee with . Limited Medical Radiologic Technologists license.
- Ability to move or lift patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to achieve teamwork, communication, quality care, and friendliness.
- Work in Electronic Medical Records Systems (eCW knowledge is a plus).
- Take Blood Pressures.
RESPONSIBILITIES (The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not limited to) :
- Direct patients to exam room / x-ray.
- Obtain patient medical history, medication information, symptoms, allergies, and pharmacy.
- Medical Assistant duties include recording vital signs, drawing up injections, and performing other clinical tasks.
- Prepare patients for provider examinations, in a timely manner.
- Enter orders, DX Codes, and scribe and or room patients for Providers.
- Assist with collecting and processing specimens for urine drug screens.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Takes x-rays by following established procedures for patient care and safety, including proper use of shielding equipment, and OSHA requirements.
- Sanitize, restock, and organize Exam and X-Ray Rooms.
