About the opportunity :
- One of the agencies of the largest secretariat in the commonwealth of Massachusetts located in Pittsfield, MA is currently looking for a Direct Care Worker
- They offer services and support individuals with intellectual disabilitiesand children with developmental disabilities
- You will provide direct care services and assist them with the activities of daily living
Direct Care Worker Responsibilities :
- Providing support, encouragement, and companionship by engaging clients in activities
- Arranging or providing transportation to appointments, supermarkets, etc.
- Helping clients with self-care, such as toileting, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth
- Assisting clients with ambulation and mobility as needed
Direct Care Worker Qualifications :
- Must have a valid, current driver's license
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- At least 6 months of DCW experience
- Dependable, reliable, and caring
