Job Description :
Understand the System requirements and reliability requirements Perform Reliability Prediction using Parts count Parts stress method.
Good understanding on standards like MIL-HDBK-217 Telcordia and NPRD 95. Draft failure mode and effect analysis sheets (Piece Part Level or Functional Level or System Level) to identify units posing excessive failure risks and support proposed changes in design.
Perform Safety Analysis activities to demonstrate the safety requirements thru Preliminary System Safety Analysis System Safety Analysis that are carried out at different phases of product development in Aero domain.
Should be proficient to use FTA, CMA, & PSA techniques to assess the system safety qualitatively and quantitatively. Use SW Tools like PTC Windchill Relex for Prediction, FMEA & FTA;
CAFTA or Isograph or Itemtool Kit for FTA analysis. Perform Testability Analysis to determine the fault detection and isolation related metrics.
Generate Reports for the analysis tasks performed such as Prediction, FMEA, Safety Analysis in a structured way that captures not only the results, but also the study approach, observations, assumptions etc.
Coordinate & Communicate with cross functional team within HCL and the client organization. Work with cross functional project team to support new project proposals.
Adherence to Delivery Schedule, Cost & Quality metrics. Guiding and Mentoring Junior Reliability Engineers Delegating the work to Junior Reliability Engineers and monitoring their performance and outputs to ensure it meet the Delivery Schedule, Cost & Quality targets.
Participate in Design Reviews to give reliability findings and recommendations. (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;
define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team. (2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (3.
To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
