The National Account Manager will report directly to the VP of Sales for the Convenience, Food & Drug Retail Segment. This person will be responsible for sales, profits and growth targets for Highline Warren distributed and manufactured automotive products sold primarily to the CFD Retail Segment.
The ideal candidate should have experience as it relates to strategic planning, sales data analytics, new business development and building relationships with the wholesale distributors and retailers in CFD.
Essential Job Duties :
- Work closely with category / product management, marketing, and supply chain to develop and execute a collaborative business plan that delivers increased sales volume and profit
- Prospect for new businesses to increase sales and market share
- Develop strong relationships with all key contacts
- Sales planning across multiple categories and product lines
- Create and analyze annual advertising and promotional sales plans
- Establish and meet sales forecasts, goals and budgets
- Maintain a current opportunities list and follow-up on all inquiries and leads
- Weekly reporting on sales results and new business opportunities
- Exceed individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as set by management
- Other duties as assigned
- Position requires travel up to 50%
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years’ experience in successful sales management
- Grocery or Convenience retail experience highly preferred
- Broker / Rep Agency Management Experience preferred
- Experience with Consumer-Packaged Goods highly preferred
