POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining existing strategic relationships with key decision makers for National Accounts (i.
e. Retail / Bigbox, Healthcare, Food Service, Hospitality, Fitness Centers, Shopping Centers and Malls, Government, Education, National Multi-family Living, Home Builders, Recreation and Sports Complexes and Industrial), strategic allies, major construction projects, and top architectural firms based in the US and Canada markets conducting and / or designing work within the US and Canada.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assign as necessary.
1. Identify and Develop Target Relationships (30%) : Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Key decision makers to implement proprietary specifications for all LATICRETE system including manufacturing partners, distributor partners, including their National Account teams and key decision makers within the identified market vertical in the US and Canada.
- Maintain and grow database of National Accounts & key decision makers within Salesforce.
- Utilize comprehensive customer management tracking system (Salesforce) to capture all pertinent project data, customer profiles and LATICRETE sales force coordination.
- Communicate key account details to all necessary personnel and continually update the Salesforce database to reflect current information.
Influence Key Decision Makers (30%) : Influence key decisions makers to implement proprietary specifications for all LATICRETE systems in the US and Canada.
- Support all company divisions (L&M, Spartacote, SUPERCAP, MVIS, TSIS and StoneTech) to introduce and implement LATICRETE systems with key decision makers.
- Act as a brand ambassador between key decision makers and LATICRETE’S global network.
- Regularly organize seminars and presentations for the key decision makers.
Product Specification (30%) : Specify and promote all product systems and brands to the key decision makers in the US and Canada.
- Assist in the development of key specification tools and marketing tools that can increase product awareness and visibility and specification of all LATICRETE systems.
- Maintain regular communication with all Laticrete Sales Reps, (CRS’s), Regional Sales Managers and Associate Directors.
Reporting and Organizational (10%)
- Submit monthly reports to Director on attainment of Key Performance Indicators.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and how to best position our products accordingly.
- Complete all required compliance, developmental and safety trainings.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience :
- 5+ years experience working in technical sales within the construction industry with a proven track record in selling to national accounts, architects / specifiers, contractors, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Specialized Skills and Experience :
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with targeted national accounts and architectural firms.
- Highly successful sales person, comfortable in complex multi-decision maker environment.
- Proven ability to cold call, and secure sales / opportunities on targeted list.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Technically competent in construction methods and standards, including : specifications, material selection processes and key construction phase(s) preferred.
- High level of self-motivation.
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills - presentation and public speaking abilities are a must.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability in leadership and motivation.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of presentation tools.
Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
- Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, clear credit report and a good driving record.
Travel Requirement :
Must be able to travel 25-50%.
Physical Requirements :
- Must pass pre-employment physical.
- Lift : Must be able to lift and / or carry a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Push / Pull : Must be able to push / pull 20 pounds.
- Stand : Must be able to stand 50-75% of the day.
