The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will coordinate with other behavioral health and primary medical providers in support care management within an integrated model.

The primary function of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to diagnose, prescribe medication, monitors medications side effects and participates in the treatment process.

Qualifications* Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing* Graduation from a state-certified advance practice program specializing in psychiatry / mental healthLICENSE / CERTIFICATION : * Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)* Possess a current DEA Certification* Valid CA Driver's License* Valid Lifesaving CertificationPRIOR EXPERIENCE : * Minimum 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders* Experience in telemedicineBilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not requiredOur competitive salaries are dependent on knowledge, skills and experience.
